Certified Survey Technician examination date set
for September 12th
A CST exam is scheduled for
Saturday September 12th at the DFW Learning Center near SH 114 and
Freeport Parkway in Irving. Examinees can take the exam online and
receive instantaneous exam results, or opt for a paper exam. There are
several levels of CST exams, for both field and office staff. It is a
great way for paraprofessionals to obtain a certified level competency,
and good for companies to demonstrate levels of competency of staff to
clients. Space is limited for the online option. For information on the
CST exam application call John Pierce at 214-631-7888.

However, it appears that
beginning with 2010, the TBPLS will no longer keep track of the number
of CEU hours licensees have accumulated.
It will be each licensed
Surveyor’s responsibility to keep track of all earned CEUs, and be able
to provide proof of such CEU if audited by the TBPLS.
